FAQ

Constantia Flexibles' energon. P is the only pouch cell laminate made in Europe that meets the stringent requirements of the automotive industry. With its superior safety and forming features, high sealing strength, and advanced thermal stability, the material is designed for optimal performance in demanding applications. Additionally, its low CO2 footprint and adherence to ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards, ensure a reliable and sustainable solution for automotive-grade batteries.

A good pouch cell laminate requires strong sealing, delamination resistance, thermal and chemical stability, excellent barrier properties, and formability. It must also support efficient production and sustainability for reliable, high-performance battery applications. Constantia Flexibles implemented these aspects into its developments of energon. P.
