It is a high-level feature for expensive products (devices) in order to protect that the content of the package is replaced and resealed.
ORIGA is designed so that it tears at defined areas during the opening process. This ensures that the lidding is destroyed and can not be resealed.
This function is ensured with a peelable coating in the opening area. As soon as the tray is opened further down, the lid is tearing. This effect is caused by specific heat-seal strength in different areas on the tray. The peelable coating is transferred to the thermoformed tray.
